On Saturday June 8, we went to a hot air balloon festival. Although we had been to a different one last summer, this one was a bit more exciting because we actually got to see the balloons (last year high winds prevented them from setting up). Emma even got her own balloon (an inflatable version, which now hangs in her bedroom)! We watched as the balloons were inflated, one-by-one, in a large field. As it grew dark, the balloons lit up for their evening "glow" event. Although there were only a handful of balloons, they put on a beautiful show!
