May was a month for parties! First, Emma was invited to a birthday party for a boy in her class. She and her friend Maci were the only two girls at the Hot Wheels party at the park, but they seemed to enjoy themselves and played nicely with the 8 boys!**The following weekend, Emma's Daisy troop had their end-of-the-year Mother/Daughter Tea Party, where the girls elected to wear their pajamas in spite of having a "fancy" breakfast with real china tea cups!**Next, Emma's cousin Lily celebrated her birthday with a Peabody and Sherman party, complete with time capsules to create and the movie to watch!**Emma's friend Jessica had a Frozen birthday party the weekend after that, with an Elsa cake, royal crowns, and pin-the-parts on Olaf! The same day, our church hosted a block party with face painting, a bouncy house, games, and a dunk tank...for the pastor!**Strangely enough, the two birthdays of closest family members-Papa Isch's on the 23rd and Daddy's on the 24th-snuck by with little fanfare. In fact, both Jessica's party and the church block party took place on Daddy's birthday! Oh, well...at least we'll look back on May as a month to party no matter what the occasion!
