On Sun. Jan. 30, we went to the indoor water park at a lodge in town. We'd had passes from Jason burning a hole in our pockets, so we finally decided we'd had enough of winter and wanted to escape it for the day! Emma's visited the park several times before, and each time she goes, she's able to enjoy a little bit more. Now there are only two places she CAN'T go (but only because she's not tall enough...I'll bet she'd take on the two-story tube slide in a heartbeat if they'd let her)! She enjoyed the kiddie pool slides, the bucket that dumps water every few minutes, the 1-story "big kid" slides, the lazy river (in a tube on Mom's lap)and the tepid-watered kids' hot tub. She even got a visit with the park's mascot!
